AICTE Launches DRISYAM and IVRS Portal

New Delhi, 24 February 2023: Two new initiatives viz. DRISYAM (Dashboard Reporting In Systematic Analysis and Monitoring) & IVRS (Interactive Voice Response System) were launched by AICTE on 22 February 2023 at AICTE HQrs.

Prof. TG Sitharam, Chairman, AICTE, said, “These two significant e-Governance initiatives were launched towards providing enhanced Ease of Doing Business experience to the stakeholders of AICTE. The inaugural session was attended by the senior officers of AICTE, academicians, and other stakeholders of AICTE in an event held in blended mode. It has a complete statistical overview and data visualization for the purpose of monitoring performances, creating of reports, and projecting future course of action and plans through the insight by means of visual representations of the performance of various initiatives of AICTE and this is a fervent attempt by AICTE to make great strides in the field of Educational Development by fixating on transparency when it comes to concerned stakeholders.”

Many Heads of the institutions and faculty members joined the session, through online mode. Prof. T. G. Sitharam (Chairman, AICTE) appreciated the efforts of the e-Governance Cell for launching two new initiatives.

AICTE’s Vice Chairman, Shri Abhay Jere, said,  ‘It has real-time data for various schemes of AICTE for different stakeholders to visualize the data for facilitating better decision making and policy in future. He also emphasized that the IVRS system being launched today will be profusely helpful for the users to seek the answer for their query through the automated telephony system. This initiative is a step in our endeavour to create transparency and ease of disseminating information.”

Prof. Rajive Kumar, Member Secretary, AICTE also graced the launching ceremony and said that the huge data available with AICTE may be helpful in providing useful insight through DRISYAM and be helpful in implementing NEP 2020 more effectively.

Welcome address was delivered by Dr. R K Soni (Adviser II, AICTE) and Vote of Thanks was proposed by Dr. Nikhil Kant (Deputy Director, AICTE). Demonstration was also given by Sh. Manoj Singh (Assistant Director, AICTE) on the functioning of DRISYAM and IVRS.
