Mumbai, 15th November 2021: Mr. Ajith Kumar K K, Executive Vice President & Chief Human Resource Officer of Federal Bank, has been conferred with the ’Leader of the Year’, Gold in the Economic Times Human Capital Awards. The award recognizes outstanding achievements in HR and sparks conversations on the challenges and potential solutions to grow Human Capital.

Ajith Kumar is a seasoned banker with more than 32 years of experience in various facets of banking, which includes heading branches, credit departments, zonal business units, business departments, etc. Mr. Ajith has overseen the Bank’s business in various states of the country before taking charge as Chief Human Resources Officer of the Bank. This vast experience helped Mr. Ajith introduce new policies/practices that align business objectives with HR functions propelling the Bank towards its vision to be the Most Admired Bank.

Federal Bank has efficiently implemented initiatives by connecting all the dots which include people, processes, organization design and culture. This impressed the jury and awarded Mr. Ajith Kumar K K with the Gold award.
