Mumbai, 30th June 2025: BC Web Wise has conceptualised and executed an interactive microsite-led campaign for LIC Housing Finance, launched on the occasion of the brand’s 36th Foundation Day. The initiative celebrates the joy of homeownership through a personalised digital nameplate experience.
For millions of Indians, that journey begins with a single thought: “Apna ghar toh apna hi hota hai,” with your name on your own door. And that’s where our idea began too.
Drawing inspiration from LIC HFL’s Foundation Day film, which celebrates the quiet joys of owning a home, from choosing your wall colour to finally putting your name on the door, BC Web Wise conceptualised and launched a heartfelt digital activation with a digital nameplate generator, titled: Apna Ghar, Apna Naam. This unique microsite invites users across India to create and download their own personalised digital nameplate, a deeply symbolic step in the journey toward home ownership.
The insight was simple, and deeply personal. Before the walls go up or the keys change hands, there’s one thing that makes a house truly yours: your name on the nameplate.
So, we built a Digital Nameplate Generator, a tool that lets users create and personalise their very own nameplate, even before they own a home. It’s small. It’s symbolic. And it opens a window into the future people want to build for themselves.
As people create their digital nameplates, they’re encouraged to share them, manifest their dreams, and take one more step toward homeownership.
“Owning a home is one of the most personal dreams for many Indians, and the nameplate is often the most visible sign of that dream coming true,” said Anuja Bharadwaj, Associate Creative Director at BC Web Wise. “With this activation, we wanted to recreate that moment of pride, even digitally. It’s simple, it’s emotional, and it’s something everyone can relate to.”
To complement the launch, the campaign is being amplified across LIC HFL’s social media platforms through engaging stories, reels, and UGC-led sharing, and employee activities. The idea is to build a community of dreamers, people who proudly share their digital nameplates as a first step toward something bigger.
