New Delhi, February 14, 2023 – Mercom India is announcing a call for nominations for the third annual Mercom India Awards, recognizing contributions made to further India’s clean energy industry and its energy transition.
This year the awards will highlight the significant commitments of organizations and individuals to strengthen the Indian economy with a focus on the environment and local communities while recognizing innovation, leadership, and exemplary performance in 11 different categories.
Award categories will include:

Best C&I Project (Rooftop)
Best C&I Project (Ground-mount)
Best Residential Project
Best Off-grid Project
Best Hybrid Project
Best Engineered Project
Best Innovation Award – Product
Deal of the Year (Strategic)
Deal of the Year (Financial)
Energy Transition
For 2023, a new award category – the Energy Transition – will be included to recognize companies that have demonstrated exemplary efforts in helping India transition toward a more sustainable and decarbonized future.

A panel of Mercom experts will select the winners.
The 2023 honourees will join previously recognized organizations that have paved the way for the energy transition in India, including Adani Green Energy, NTPC Limited, Ciel et Terre Solar, Reliance New Energy Solar, ENGIE, among others.
Nominations will be accepted through March 31, 2023, and the finalists will be announced during the in-person awards ceremony to be held on April 26, 2023, at the Mercom India Renewables Summit at the Hyatt Regency, New Delhi.
