1 T Girls Bn Ncc – Secunderabad Conducted Garbage Free India – Swachhata Hi Sewa (Shs) Campaign

1 T GIRLSHyderabad, 2 October 2023: GARBAGE FREE INDIA -SWACHHATA HI SEWA (SHS) CAMPAIGN (Ek Tareek Ek Ghanta). NCC cadets from four Institutions of 1 TELANGANA GIRLS BN NCC-SECUNDERABAD along with unit staff participated in the “Garbage free India-‘Swatcchata Hi Sewa’ program on 1St Oct’ 2023. The event was organised by 1 (T) Girls Bn, NCC under Secunderabad Group. Events conducted during the event included the Swatcchta Awareness Rally, Area cleaning, and Tree plantation in which the commanding officer along with 12 Personal instructors staff, 05 Associate NCC Officers, 02 Civ staff, and 50 cdts participated.

The unit staff and cdts of the Bn carried out area cleaning at Asha Colony – Roberts Road- CSD Depot – Military Hospital. Apart from the above event, NCC cadets from many other institutes of 1 T-Girls Bn Under the able leadership of the Commanding Officer Lt.Col. Pradeep Kumar conducted the cleanliness drives at the neighbourhood places like Tank Bund, Koti, Gunfoundry, Defence lab qtrs, Balanagar, Balapur, Thumkunta, Kavadiguda, Nampally Railway Station, ECIL, Nagaram, Nacharam, Pathergatti, Nampally, Gandhinagar, Bhoiguda, Trimulgherry, Shapurnagar, Medchal… etc and carried out Awareness Rallies, poster making competitions, no plastic campaign.

914 NCC Girl Cadets of 1 T-Girls Bn took part in the Swatcchata Hi Sewa program Pan Secunderabad and Hyderabad. The Participation of cadets with lots of enthusiasm and zeal in the cleanliness drive for one hour was appreciated by all locals and common people. The cadets have indeed kept the flag of NCC high by participating in this social cause.
