JAIN International Residential School to host the AITA Talent Series 2023

Bengaluru; 7th Jan 2023: AITA (All India Tennis Association) talent series 2023 will be held at JAIN International Residential School, in collaboration with the Karnataka State Lawn Tennis Association. The series is going to be held from 7th to 13th January 2023, at JAIN Global Campus and JAIN International Residential School, Bengaluru. The series is open to boys and girls between the ages of 12 and 16.

Mr. Sanjeeva Kumar Sinha, principal and tournament director of JAIN International Residential School (JIRS), said, “Sport strengthens young students’ physical and mental health as well as their concentration, which relates directly to their academic success and quality of life. Sport education is an integral part of JIRS and has produced and nurtured many renowned sports talents, thus positioning it as one of the top sports schools in Bengaluru and the country. Our team is looking forward to hosting the upcoming AITA Series. “We are hopeful that this series will help identify future sporting talents who can make India proud on a global stage.”

The tournament has received an unprecedented response from schools across Karnataka. JIRS and JAIN Global Campus provide state-of-the-art facilities similar to those at the Khelo India University Games this year. This collaboration between JIRS and KSLT is anticipated to create new tennis talent in India.”

The tournament aims to inspire aspiring young tennis players from across Bengaluru and Karnataka and help them develop their game. The tournament is divided into two categories: team championships (for U-16 boys and girls) and individual championships (for U-12 boys and girls) under the “talent series,” which is going to take place for 7 days in a row. Outside players are also given accommodation facilities by the organizers in the JIRS hostel. Entries for participation have already started, with only Rs. 400 for both the singles and doubles categories in the talent series.
