India, 25th February 2025: Rabindranath Tagore University (RNTU), a leading institution dedicated to research and innovation, is elated to announce the fourth edition of Shodh Shikhar, an International Conference on Research, Innovation, and Science Communication. Scheduled for March 28-29, 2025, at the RNTU campus, this two-day event will bring together students, scholars, researchers, scientists, innovators, and industry experts to explore groundbreaking advancements and foster collaboration in various fields.
Themed around ‘Progressing from developing to developed India,’ the conference will serve as a dynamic platform for participants to showcase their research, innovative projects, and science communication initiatives. Featuring an esteemed panel of national and international experts, Shodh Shikhar promises to facilitate insightful discussions and pioneering research while offering invaluable networking opportunities for aspiring researchers and industry professionals.
The conference will feature key activities for participants, including a Research Paper Presentation that requires papers to have less than 10% plagiarism. There will also be a Research Project Competition where teams of up to five students, along with one faculty mentor, can display their projects. A special segment called Science Communication (Vigyan Parv) will focus on science storytelling, poetry, and digital tools for outreach. Furthermore, the Industry Expo will provide a platform for presenting products, designs, and research innovations to industry professionals, fostering valuable partnerships between academia and industry.
Participants will have the chance to compete for prestigious cash prizes and certificates, recognizing outstanding contributions in various categories. The Best Research Project Award will celebrate achievements across all categories, with cash prizes of ₹35,000 for the Platinum Prize, ₹15,000 for the Gold Prize, and ₹10,000 for the Silver Prize. Each category in the Best Research Paper Award will offer a Platinum Prize of ₹10,000 and a Gold Prize of ₹5,000. Furthermore, to ensure equal opportunities for women in the field of research, the awards will include a Women-Centric Award. Selected papers will also be published in esteemed international journals and book chapters with Taylor & Francis, Elsevier, and Springer, providing further recognition for participants’ contributions.
