Mumbai, 4 June 24- Amazon miniTV, Amazon’s free video streaming service, recently released a teenage school drama, Sisterhood. Since its launch, the series has received significant praise from fans. The series beautifully captures the essence of the adolescence of four school friends – Zoya, Nikita, Ann, and Gargee highlighting the heartfelt highs and lows of growing up which resonates with viewers deeply. Created by TVF’s Girliyapa, Sisterhood features a talented young cast, including Anvesha Vij, Nidhi Bhanushali, Nitya Mathur, and Bhagyashree Limaye in pivotal roles.

Bhagyashree Limaye, who essays the character of Ann, the naive and innocent girl in the series, shares the USP of Sisterhood. She said, “The series stands out due to the abundance of innocence and purity portrayed by the school girls. It follows four girls showcased their pure and kind-hearted souls coming together. The show beautifully captures their friendship, womanhood, and girlhood offering a rare glimpse of such strong bonds between women. Furthermore, she shared their post-pack-up routine saying, “After wrapping up we would head straight to the canteen to indulge in meals. We all were very foodie. We relish food on our set so much that our attires used to get tight due to a well-fed stomach. Undoubtedly, food held a prominent role in our daily activities.”

Nitya Mathur who brings life into the character of fearless confident girl Nikita, shares her favorite teenage drama, saying, “Derry Girls is my favorite teen drama, and it inspired me a lot while preparing for Sisterhood. The story is about four girls, one boy, as they navigate high school, highlighting their unique traits, and challenges. It beautifully showcases that T friendship is the strongest form of love”.
