Bengaluru, 20th Nov 2024: During the 27th edition of the Bengaluru Tech Summit (BTS), Shri Siddaramaiah, the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Karnataka, presented a special recognition to Sriharsha Majety, Group CEO and Co-Founder of Swiggy, celebrating the newly listed company’s exceptional 10-year journey and its impactful contributions to Karnataka’s tech ecosystem. Founded in 2014 in Bengaluru’s Koramangala, Swiggy (now Swiggy Ltd.) has grown from a food delivery platform to India’s pioneering on-demand convenience platform. Today, Swiggy serves millions of customers nationwide, with its rapid growth fueled by innovation and an unwavering commitment to bringing unparalleled convenience to consumers. This success has positioned Swiggy as one of Bengaluru’s most notable homegrown startups.
