Rotary Club of Garden City Installs New President and Board of Directors

2nd September 2024: Rotary Club of Garden City recently conducted the installation of its new President and Board of Directors for the Rotary year 2024-2025. The ceremony was held at the Goregaon Sports Club, Mumbai, and was meticulously managed by the Sergeant-At-Arms, Rtn. Tushar Pandya.

The presence of the District Governor, Rtn graced the event. Chetan Desai and several other esteemed District dignitaries honoured the occasion with their presence.

The newly elected President, Rtn. Priyanka Talreja, supported by Club Secretary Rtn. Nikhil Kedia, will lead the club, focusing on community service, diversity and inclusion, education, healthcare, and environment and sustainability. The new Board of Directors, composed of dedicated Rotarians, will support the President in driving the club’s mission to serve the community. As a part of this event, the RCGC team donated to the plantation of 121 trees to positively impact the environment.

Rotary Club of Garden City, part of Rotary International, is committed to making a difference in the community through various service projects and initiatives. The club looks forward to continuing its work under the new leadership and invites all members and well-wishers to join in this celebration.

As part of its commitment to nurturing future leaders, RCGC is also proud to announce that it will sponsor the newly formed Rotaract Club of Future Varsity Education, empowering students to engage in community service and leadership development.

Rotary Club of Karad and Rotaract Club Kick Off New Year with Installation Ceremony

The Rotary Club of Karad and Rotaract Club of Karad City marked the commencement of the new Rotary International Year 2024-25 with a grand installation ceremony at Town Hall, Karad, on July 12, 2024. This significant event was graced by distinguished guests and members from both Rotary and Rotaract communities.

The ceremony saw the installation of the new Presidents and Board of Directors for both clubs. The esteemed Padmshri Dr. Tatyarao Lahane and Assistant Governor Rtn Rajiv Rawal were the chief guests, adding grandeur and prestige to the occasion.

New Leadership for Rotary Club of Karad

For the Rotary Club of Karad, Rtn Ramchandra Lakhole was ceremoniously collared as President, with Rtn Ananda Thorat taking on the role of Secretary for the 2024-25 term. Both leaders expressed their dedication to upholding the club’s values and enhancing its legacy of service and community impact. President Lakhole outlined his agenda, emphasizing the strengthening of club membership, enhancing local outreach programs, and fostering partnerships with other service organizations. “Our goal is to build on the solid foundation laid by our predecessors and elevate our club’s contributions to new heights,” he stated.

Energizing the Rotaract Club of Karad City

In parallel, the Rotaract Club of Karad City installed Rtr Azim Kagdi as President and Rtr Prathmesh Kamble as Secretary. The young leaders showcased their enthusiasm and commitment to driving the club’s initiatives forward with vigor and innovation. President Kagdi highlighted the importance of youth engagement and the role of Rotaract in addressing contemporary social issues. “We aim to be the change-makers in our community, bringing fresh ideas and energy to tackle the challenges we face,” he asserted.

During their inaugural addresses, the new Presidents of both clubs shared their visions and strategic plans for their tenures. They emphasized their commitment to fostering community engagement, expanding service projects, and enhancing the impact of Rotary and Rotaract activities within the region. A Ceremony to Remember

The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt rendition of “Vande Mataram,” symbolizing the clubs’ dedication to serving the nation and its people. The event was a resounding success, setting a positive tone for the upcoming Rotary year and reaffirming the clubs’ commitment to their core values.

As the Rotary Club of Karad and Rotaract Club of Karad City embark on this new chapter, their leaders’ dedication and vision promise a year filled with impactful initiatives and strengthened community ties. Rotary Club of Hyd North Commits Rs 50 Lakh to Girl’s Welfare School

Hyderabad, July 05, 2024…… A senior government official, the Director of Mines and Geology, with the Government of Telangana, Shri BVR Susheel Kumar becomes President of the Rotary Club of Hyderbad North at a 61st Installation Ceremony just held. He has taken a formal oath of office along with his team of officers.

The other office bearers include Dr K. Venkata Murali, Secretary; Naresh C. Raman, Treasurer; A Kameshwara Rao, Girish Joshi, Dr G. M. Rao, Pavan Kumar, Raghu Chandra, Dr A. Ramakrishna as Directors, Dr Sridhar Boppana, Jt Secretary; Dr S. Manikandan, Club Trainer.

Giving year-long programs and activities speaking at their board meeting, Mr BVR Susheel Kumar said empowering girl students through bicycles, supporting their health, education through re-usable napkins, fee reimbursement, building up confidence through protection techniques, career counselling sessions, construction of dining halls, dormitories, classrooms, etc through CSR activities at Mahatma Jyotiba Phule Girl Residential Welfare School at Urkonda Peta, Nagar Kurnool District at an outlay of ₹50 lakhs are some of the few focus areas during the year, informed Mr BVR Susheel Kumar.

Apart from these many projects under focus areas of Rotary will be taken up during the Rotary Year 2024-25.
