IOCL-HMA’s Project Samvedna Distributes 10,000 Menstrual Cups for Women’s HealthGohana (Sonipat), 01st April 2025:  In a move to promote menstrual hygiene and sustainable menstrual practices, 10,000 menstrual cups were distributed under Project Samvedna at Government Women’s College, Gohana, Sonipat. The initiative is part of the Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) Panipat and HLL Management Academy (HMA) CSR programme.

The project, which will continue until December 2025, will include a series of awareness sessions and distribution activities across the region.

Addressing the gathering, Renu Raina, Deputy General Manager (Technical), NRPL Panipat, highlighted the importance of menstrual hygiene awareness and the benefits of adopting environment-friendly alternatives like menstrual cups. On this occasion, an informative booklet on the safe and effective use of menstrual cups was also released.

Dr. Krishna S H, Manager (Public Health Projects), HMA, introduced Project Samvedna, underscoring its objective to empower women by providing them with sustainable menstrual solutions. Dr. Shamsheer Hooda, Principal, and Mr. Satish Kumar, Vice-Principal of the college, also spoke about the significance of menstrual health education during the event.

The programme is expected to have a long-term impact by improving access to safe, affordable, and eco-friendly menstrual products for women, while contributing to broader health and sustainability goals.

The esteemed trophy was lifted by the Rajnigandha Achievers consisting of Dino Dhankhar, Shamsheer Ali, Abhimanyu Pathak, Bk Mr Daniel Otamendi after a fiercely contested match against Jindal Panther.
  • The coveted cup was presented to the winning team, Rajnigandha Achievers, by Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, Honourable Vice President of India, Mrs Rajashree Birla, Chairperson, The Aditya Birla Centre for Community Initiative and Rural Development and Mr Askaran Agarwala, Group Advisor, Birla Group Trusts and special community projects.
  • Jindal Panther team consisted of Naveen Jindal (captain), Hurr Ali, Kuldeep Singh Rathore, Bk Mr JP Clarkin
  • This year’s edition featured three teams battling it out, with polo enthusiasts cheering for their favourite team. Participating teams included Jindal Panther, Rajnigandha Achievers, and Cavalry Royal Enfield.

THE ART HUB Presents ‘CHINAR: Through Time, Seasons & Lens’ by Megha SindwaniChinar: Through Time, Through Seasons, Through the Lens was not just an exhibition. It was a meditation on a land that exists in contrasts, where beauty and resilience walk hand in hand. At the heart of this collection stood the Chinar, Kashmir’s silent witness, watching as seasons shift and generations pass. Much like the land itself, the Chinar was both steadfast and poetic, shedding its leaves only to be reborn. Through Megha’s lens, the tree became more than just a symbol of Kashmir’s landscape; it transformed into an echo of its spirit. Each image in this collection, whether of still water, cloud-laden peaks or weathered hands, told a story of endurance, impermanence and the quiet power of simply existing.

The inauguration of the preview was done on Saturday, 29th March, 2025 at Alliance Française de, Delhi- 72, KK Birla Lane, Lodhi Estate, New Delhi -110003.

The guests spotted at the event were Nelofar Currimbhoy, Dilip Cherian, Aditya Raj Kaul, Artist Kanchan Chandra, Fashion Designer Leena Singh, Dr. Rennie Joyy, Fashion Designer Shilpi Gupta, Raka Bal, Artist Manoj Arora, Fashion Designer Anupamaa Dayal, Fashion Designer Rosy Ahluwalia & Promila Bhari to name a few came to celebrate the solo show of Megha Sindwani.

Chinar is not just about photography or even about Kashmir. It is about seeing differently. It is about realizing that art is not confined to galleries and books but is woven into the fabric of life itself. Some stories are best told in words, others in images. The most powerful ones do not need to be told at all. They only need to be seen.

A portion of the proceeds from this exhibition supported Foster & Forge Foundation that believes education is about perspective as much as knowledge. This collaborative effort ensured that underserved children experience art, not just see it. Megha bridged artistic expression with action, proving photography can change the world.
