
Pune, Nov 25: The Federal Bank Pune Marathon 2025 concluded on a triumphant note today, uniting more than 3,000 runners from across India in a spirited celebration of fitness, endurance, and community pride. The event, hosted at the Savitribai Phule Pune University Grounds, transformed the city’s iconic avenues into a dynamic landscape of determination, colour, and camaraderie.
Participants competed across four categories — Full Marathon (42K), Half Marathon (21K), 10K Run, and the 5K Fun Run — showcasing Federal Bank’s dedication to fostering a culture of holistic well-being and active living nationwide.
Race Highlights and Winners
The marathon witnessed stellar performances across all age and gender segments. The fastest runners overall are as below:
- Marathon (42K)
- Vikram B emerged as the fastest male marathoner, finishing in 2 hours 39 minutes 26 seconds.
- Ishita Malviya topped the women’s category with a strong finish at 3 hours 59 minutes 01 second.
- Half Marathon (21K)
- Vishal Bansode led the men’s division with 1 hour 08 minutes 06 seconds, while
- Gayatri Patil secured the women’s title with 1 hour 23 minutes 48 seconds.
- 10K Category
- Shubham Dapake, men’s winner — 32 minutes 21 seconds
- Mansi Yadav, women’s winner — 40 minutes 18 seconds

The prize distribution ceremony was graced by Milind Soman, actor and fitness icon; MVS Murthy, Chief Marketing Officer, Federal Bank; Ajith Kumar A, Senior Vice President & Zonal Head, Federal Bank; Manoj E, Deputy Vice President, Federal Bank and Praful Uchil, Co-founder and Director of Striders.
A Celebration Beyond the Finish Line
The marathon route — weaving through the scenic stretches of Pashan, Bhavdhan, Baner Phata, CID Office, and the University campus — offered runners a refreshing blend of natural charm and urban energy. The electrifying rhythms of Puneri Dhol-Tasha groups at the start and finish lines amplified the festive atmosphere, while well-manned hydration points, medical teams, and volunteers ensured a seamless and safe experience for every participant.
Supported by the Pune Police, Maharashtra Athletics Association, and a dedicated organising team, the event reinforced Pune’s place on India’s rapidly growing marathon map.
The 2025 edition concluded with resounding success, underscoring Federal Bank’s commitment to empowering communities across the country through initiatives that inspire strength, endurance, and collective well-being.
