Equal Ground Comes to Travancore Palace, Delhi with an Immersive Wellness Gathering Rooted in Indic Wisdom

business Feb 19, 2026

In a city defined by movement, ambition, and relentless pace, Equal Ground arrives as an intentional pause. Taking place on 7th and 8th March 2026 at Travancore Palace, New Delhi, Equal Ground is the capital’s first wellness conference rooted in traditional Indic knowledge bringing together yoga, philosophy, movement, and mental wellbeing in one immersive, shared space.

Conceived as more than a conference and far more than a retreat, Equal Ground is designed as a participatory gathering for teachers, practitioners, and curious seekers alike. It was born from a simple yet urgent question: how do we gather with depth in a time that often feels rushed, fragmented, and performative? The answer lies in community in shared inquiry, lived practice, and meaningful dialogue.

“Equal Ground began with the feeling that while we are more connected than ever, we rarely gather with real depth,” say founders Eddie Stern, Sonakshi Dhamija and Aishwarya Sahu. “We wanted to create a space within the city not away from it where people could step out of productivity and comparison, and into presence and shared exploration. The name reflects our intention: a space where teachers and students, experts and seekers meet without hierarchy, and where tradition is not just spoken about, but experienced together.”

Unlike conventional wellness events that position audiences as spectators, Equal Ground blurs the lines between speaker and participant. Over two days, attendees move between grounding movement and breath-led sessions, thoughtfully curated philosophy-led conversations, and experiential workshops that translate traditional wisdom into tools for modern living. The structure intentionally alternates between intellectual engagement and embodied practice, allowing for integration rather than information overload.

The lineup reflects this balance of lineage and contemporary relevance. Internationally recognised yoga teacher and researcher Eddie Stern joins respected classical yoga teacher Prasad Rangnekar, Ayurvedic health coach and gut-health expert Dimple Jangda, and Bani Singh, who explores Jyotisa as a lens to understand the mind. Actor and wellness advocate Sonali Bendre brings her lived perspective on resilience and holistic health, adding a deeply personal dimension to the dialogue. Each voice has been curated to ensure depth, diversity, and authenticity.

Alongside the programming, Equal Ground will also feature a curated retail showcase spotlighting conscious wellness brands including Tego, Boheco, Shunya Wellness, Marma Rituals, and Ace Blend. Attendees will have the opportunity to discover and shop thoughtfully crafted products that extend the philosophy of wellbeing beyond the sessions and into everyday living. From the F&B sphere we have Stangr for a caffeine rush, Italian brand – San Bendetto as hydration partner and Hearth and I food for healthy dishes.

With Equal Ground, wellness is not positioned as escape but as engagement. Not as spectacle but as shared practice. In the middle of the city, a new kind of gathering begins.
