8-Year-Old Boy Shines at World Mind Sports Championship

Dec 23: Anay Dhavale, a talented 8-year-old from Bopal has made the nation proud. He emerged victorious in his category at the prestigious World Mind Sports Championship held in Dubai from November 10 to 16. Anay showcased exceptional skill and determination, securing 1st Runner-Up positions in both the Auditory Math and Sudoku Challenge categories. The global event, held internationally for the first time, attracted 7,485 participants, with only 150 qualifying for the final round. Students qualify through a rigorous selection process, progressing from Centre-level exams to District or State-level, and finally the National-level competitions.

The event brought together brilliant young talents from 10 countries to compete across 10 challenging categories including, Sudoku, Chess, Word Bank, Flash Math, Auditory Math, 1000 in 10 Cube, N-Fix, MMCWC – Junior, MMCWC – Senior and All 3 Cube.

The World Mind Sports Championship prepares students for the Memoriad, an international mental sports championship held every four years. Anay, a class 4 student of Cosmos Castle International Green Campus School, has demonstrated remarkable talent and determination. His success inspires young achievers across the country to pursue excellence in mental sports.
