New Delhi: The much-awaited ‘Master Creation ki Biradari’ Handicraft Festival began at Dilli Haat, INA Market, New Delhi. The event will run from December 1 to December 15, 2024. Organized by the Ministry of Textiles, this festival celebrates India’s rich handloom and handicraft heritage while empowering artisans and weavers.
This unique festival features an exquisite collection of handcrafted products, including textiles, pottery, jewellery, and wooden crafts, showcasing the diversity of Indian artistry. Visitors will have the rare opportunity to meet 11 Padma Awardees, 18 Shilp Guru Award, 22 Sant Kabir Awardees, 113 National Awardees, and 3 National Merit Certificate holders, and witness their outstanding creations up close.
The event also includes live demonstrations by artisans, cultural performances featuring traditional music and dance, and regional cuisine stalls, making it a truly memorable experience. The festival is open daily from 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM.
