02nd, June 2025: BIG FM, one of India’s leading radio networks, successfully hosted the third edition of the BIG IMPACT AWARDS Kolkata, honouring exceptional industry leaders and their remarkable contributions to the city. Celebrating excellence across diverse sectors, the event recognised businesses that have set new standards in disruption and social impact. Held at Vivanta, the evening was further elevated by the presence of acclaimed actor Abir Chatterjee, who joined as a special guest.
The evening began with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, a symbolic gesture of progress and new beginnings. What followed was a showcase of extraordinary accomplishments, as industry veterans and dignitaries took the stage to present the BIG IMPACT Awards. These honours were bestowed upon businesses and individuals whose visionary efforts have left a meaningful and lasting impact on society. Staying true to the awards’ philosophy of ‘Recognizing Unconventional Excellence,’ each winner was presented with the prestigious BIG Impact Trophy, symbolizing their commitment to progress, innovation and leadership.
The event was further graced by an illustrious gathering of esteemed guests from across domains, including celebrated personalities like Sudipa Chatterjee, Churni Ganguly, Rooqma Roy, Shruti Das, Souraseni Maitra, Basabdatta Kar, music composer Indradeep Dasgupta, and noted chef Rongon Neogi. Also in attendance were respected dignitaries Debashis Kumar (MLA & Mayor-in-Council) and Partha Bhowmik (MP), who lent their presence to applaud the entrepreneurial spirit of Kolkata.
