Amity Business School, Amity University Noida campus is organizing its 11th Global Leadership and Research Conference (GLRC-2026), from 11th-12th February 2026, on the theme, “The Next Gen Technologies for Sustainable Business Innovation”.

Addressing the students during the Inaugural Session, Chief Guest Shri T. Roumuan Paite, Chairman & Managing Director, National Scheduled Tribes Finance and Development Corporation (NSTFDC) averred, “I work for the welfare of tribal community in India and today the world is looking at tribal societies for finding solutions to various problems. We have lots of tribal technologies in India such as traditional healers, tribal eco-friendly business constructions, climate responsive house designs, which are sustainable and eco-friendly. Bheel tribes in Rajasthan have a unique rain harvesting system and Khasi Jayantia tribes in Meghalaya have bamboo stick irrigation systems, which are natural and safe for the environment. In addition, beautiful tribal paintings, embroideries, metal casting and many other useful sustainable solutions are available in the tribal parts for the country, however, we have the tendency of looking at the European countries for technological advancements and innovations. Let us also look at our own tribal societies since our tribal practices and traditional knowledge system can cure serious diseases such as cancer, diabetes. We must make use of the huge repository of traditional tribal practices and knowledge available in our country, in our search for next gen technologies.”

Addressing the Conference, Guest of Honour, Air Marshal Awadhesh Kumar Bharti, Deputy Chief of the Air Staff, stated, “The topic of the conference is very contemporary and apt in the emerging world order of today, wherein economic and military minds are going to decide the future trajectory of nations and well-being of its people. Investing in future technology will build military capabilities and if we do not invest in future technologies today, we will have a huge risk of being degraded to the status of a third-grade power. We cannot miss future tech revolution and the use of AI, quantum encryption, and robotics, is crucial in battlefield, in order to ensure safety and security.”

Sharing the “Way Ahead and Road Map for the Future”, Dr Ashok K. Chauhan, Founder President, Amity Education Group, said, “Amity is committed to nurturing future leaders who will make India the world’s most developed country. All students must have a mission in life and Amity will provide all the support, knowledge and learning to the students to fulfil their mission.”
