Mumbai, 26 Feb — Rite Water Solutions (India) Limited has been named the ‘Environmental Solutions Company of the Year’ at the VCCiRCLE Awards 2026, one of India’s most coveted honours in the private equity and venture capital ecosystem. The award was presented at the 15th edition of the VCCiRCLE Awards ceremony held on 24th February 2026 at JW Marriott, Sahar, Mumbai, in conjunction with the VCCiRCLE India Limited Partners Summit 2026.
The award carries exceptional credibility by virtue of the distinguished Grand Jury that evaluated nominees — comprising Neha Grover, Regional Lead for South Asia Funds Group at the International Finance Corporation (IFC); Abhishek Nair, Head of Investments and New Ventures at Sharjah Asset Management; Dr. Subhransu Acharya, Chairman and Managing Director of the National Small Industries Corporation; and Natarajan Venkatram, Managing Director and Head of India at Canadian pension fund La Caisse (formerly CDPQ). The jury evaluated nominees on the basis of business impact, innovation, and sustainable performance.
Rite Water was shortlisted alongside formidable peers in India’s clean energy and environmental solutions landscape — Avaada Energy Pvt. Ltd., Apraava Energy Pvt. Ltd., Ecozen Solutions Pvt. Ltd., and ReNew Photovoltaics Pvt. Ltd. Being selected as the winner in this category is a strong validation of Rite Water’s impact-driven approach and its consistent delivery of sustainable environmental infrastructure across India.
“This recognition from VCCiRCLE and its eminent jury is deeply meaningful to us. It reflects the dedication of every member of the Rite Water team who works tirelessly to deliver water and environmental solutions for Bharat and further recognises our vision of “Transforming Rural Bharat”. We are honoured to be recognised among such an outstanding set of nominees and remain committed to raising the bar further. Shyam Bhattbhatt, CFO, Rite Water Solutions (India) Limite
At the heart of VCCiRCLE’s recognition this year was a deliberate focus on companies driving India’s transformation into a developed nation — the vision of Viksit Bharat. Rite Water’s work embodies this mission precisely. While India’s growth story is often told through its cities and capital markets, Rite Water has been quietly building the invisible infrastructure that makes rural India thrive — delivering safe drinking water to remote villages, cleaning the Ganges, electrifying farms with solar pumps, and connecting thousands of water and power assets to real-time digital monitoring. From the lanes of Varanasi to 15,000+ villages under Jal Jeevan Mission, from PM KUSUM fields in Rajasthan to MSEDCL substations across Maharashtra, Rite Water’s projects are aligned with India’s most ambitious national programmes and directly serve the communities that Viksit Bharat promises to uplift. In recognising Rite Water, the VCCiRCLE jury has acknowledged not just a company’s financial performance, but the profound and lasting impact a purposeful enterprise can create when technology meets human need.
