Symphony has recommended a 2nd interim dividend of 50% i.e. ₹ 1/- per equity share of ₹ 2/- each amounting to ₹ 7 crores.

 January 25, 2022: Mr. Nrupesh Shah, Executive Director of Symphony Ltd. has commented:

  • Standalone Gross Profit and EBITDA margin % during the quarter are lower due to:
  • Large revenue expenses incurred for various initiatives related to Direct to Consumer Sales (D2C), Large Space ventilated air cooler (LSV), exports to the USA and new upcoming air cooler models.
  • The Company initiated various measures to support the trade partners to take care of their inventory and better sales performance in subsequent quarters.
  • Nine months Consolidated Gross Profit and EBITDA margin % are higher than the previous year. Annual and March 2022 quarter Consolidated Gross Profit and EBITDA % are expected in line with the previous year.

Outlook

Having a premium brand with various path-breaking models for household, commercial and industrial needs and being a market leader, we are quite optimistic for growth and performance in a medium to long term period that remains intact.

The long format programming ranging 2-3 hours will showcase, real time, live experience of the light of flame of the Makara Jyoti Star which appears thrice on the Ponnambalamedu Hill. Programming will also include celebrations of the sacred ornaments’ procession of Lord Ayyappan known as Thiruvabharanam and the congregation at the hill shrine of Sabarimala, ensuring a wholesome devotional experience. Ensuring optimal reach to devotees spread across the southern markets, it will be played out on News18 Kerala, News18 Tamil Nadu and News18 Kannada on Friday, January 14.

The year 2021 saw Covid-19 restrictions by the Government, capping physical headcount to Sabarimala being capped to 5000 devotees only, leaving thousands disappointed and yearning to be part of the adoration ceremony of their favourite Lord Ayappa. ALTBalaji’s campaign #ALTBingeFest has been an embarking one and has made a solid presence, especially amongst the tyros. As a part of the fest, the OTT platform decided to horde masterclasses for those aiming, to be a part of the entertainment industry in the future. After the successful masterclasses with the Writer’s lab and the Director’s lab, the platform is back again with a series of The Producer’s Lab. The sole purpose of the series is to educate the youth through their brilliant initiative, ‘The Producer Lab’ series on YouTube, which is a part of their #ALTBingeFest.

This series has ace ALTBalaji producers Samar Khan, Karan Raj Kohli, Sachin Mohite and Tanveer Bookwala, who have put forth their work in different genres through ALTBalaji, interacting with college students—educating these newbies who are about the enter the real world with their immense knowledge and experience in the industry. Tomorrow’s aspiring storytellers have too much to learn through this episodic that ALTBalaji has arranged for. Students having a candid conversation with the producers is a great way to observe and imbibe whatever they can learn from these masters of their art.

This week, ALTBalaji put forth the premiere episode from ‘The Producer’s Lab’ series. The series is for aspiring storytellers in association with R.D National College and MET Institute of Mass Media. The episode was aced by the famous producer Samar Khan who has produced a plethora of digital hits like The Married Woman, Code M, The Verdict, and Mai Hero Boll Raha Hu to name a few. During the conversation, Samar gave a few tips to budding aspirants, some insights on his journey and a mantra to succeed in the industry.

Speaking about his career graph Samar shares, “My career began with the media revolution in India in 1994. Without having a media background, I think I was just at the right place, at the right time to be introduced to the industry. I have always loved the industry and being an ace debater in school helped a lot. I began as a radio jockey and the rest is history. I have learned a lot working in the entertainment industry and through observations, I learnt a lot about film making too. Later on, as an entertainment journalist, I saw people like Yash Chopra, Ram Gopal Verma, etc be at the top of their game at work which fascinated me. I eventually learned how to tell a story and decided to start telling one.”

He further added, “I didn’t do well initially, and that made me work harder. After a few learnings, I met Ekta Kapoor, who asked me to produce my work creatively, and that is how I became a good showrunner. It has been a very eventful journey and I am extremely grateful to God for having these opportunities that most people might not have. So you learn over time through careful observations and extreme determination and that is exactly how you succeed in life with regards to anything and everything!”

Evidently, the producers conversing and handing out their great expertise to these students will be a once in a lifetime kind of opportunity for them.

Manorama Infosolutions expands global footprint with Integrated National Health Information System (HIS) project for the Govt. of Seychelles

Mumbai, Nov 2021: Manorama Infosolutions Pvt. Ltd. (MIPL) India, a true healthcare digital transformation company, has been awarded a prestigious country automation project from the Ministry of Health (MoH), the Republic of Seychelles. While taking things to the next level in clinical excellence, MIPL is working closely with The Healthcare Agency—an initiative by the Ministry of Health, Seychelles—to provide digital solutions for the government-run hospitals in Seychelles. This will be immensely beneficial to the citizens, who rely on various primary, secondary and tertiary healthcare systems in the country.

A one-of-a-kind mega project in East Africa, funded by Exim Bank, India; implementing MIPL’s Lifeline International Suite. The project holds considerable relevance, as it shall deliver the implementation of Health Information Management System (HIMS) at various hospitals, clinics, and wellness centers, among others for a total of 20 such healthcare facilities under the MoH, Seychelles province. The HIS will be utilized throughout the entire government healthcare service. This consists of 16 health centres spread over 3 islands and 1 main hospital (300 beds) with 6 annexes.

There are immense benefits to the HIS system, some of these include: easy retrieval of information access, increased operations productivity, via avoiding duplicate data entry, quick registration to avoid long queue, Master Patient Index, improved efficiency and accuracy of coding and billing, better revenue management, improved quality of healthcare, improved clinical management (diagnosis and treatment), reduced medical errors, improved patient outcomes, improved patient satisfaction, and better decision-making for stakeholders.

The project cycle is in compliance with CMMI ML3 and is scheduled to be fully-operational by the end of 2021. With this newest addition to its portfolio, MIPL has further strengthened its international footprint, which already includes countries from APAC, the Middle East and Africa, among others.

As per the statistical information provided by the MoH, Seychelles relating to the healthcare system, the average number of out-patients registered per year is 5,00,000, the average number of in-patients registered per year is 14,000. Similarly, the average number of patients attending casualty per year is 30,000, while the average number of investigations undertaken per year stands at 6,60,000. With Manorama Infosolutions Health Information Systems (HIS), Seychelles healthcare structure will have an added advantage to manage their healthcare services seamlessly.

A representative from MoH, Republic of Seychelles, said, “Our focus has been to introduce integration and innovation while aiming to improve health and social care for all. We want the healthcare system to play a greater role, delivering the best possible care and introduce frameworks that remain truly integrated. We wished to introduce a system in healthcare that is more accountable and responsive to the healthcare providers that work in it and the people that use it. In this regard, MIPL has already set a proven track record by undertaking and successfully implementing Country Automation projects in various countries. This remained one of the key motivating factors for us to collaborate with the India-based digital healthcare IT Company. As we look towards the future, our healthcare system will continue to remain central to the national wellbeing and prosperity in the years to come.”

What makes the project distinguished in innovation is the fact that MIPL has been trusted with the complete digitization of Patient Management System and Clinical Care System. Apart from this, there are many other functionalities in all the 20 hospitals, including primary, secondary and tertiary care hospitals that are being operated under the Ministry.

As a mega project that holds the potential to take things to the next level while timely improving the efficiency of the overall system through digitization of the process, MIPL’s Lifeline International Suite—a customized and tailored Hospital Information Management Solution (HIMS)—will interface with Hospital Information System (HIS) application in the National Population Database (NPD), Treasury Information System, Government HRMS, Laboratory Equipment, ASYCUDA world system, and Digital signature.

MIPL has already begun the process of implementing the solution and it is expected to be completed by the end of this year.
