New Delhi, Feb 17: Prof. Subir Verma, Director of FORE School of Management, was conferred the prestigious ‘Change Maestro & Institutional Builder of the Year’ award at the Industry Academia Conference (IAC) 2026. The honour recognises his exceptional leadership in advancing academic rigour, modernising infrastructure, and strengthening industry alignment at the institution.

The award acknowledges key institutional milestones achieved under Prof. Verma’s stewardship, including expansion through off-campus presence, increased student intake, and the implementation of a long-term roadmap for academic and infrastructural growth. This strategic growth has been undertaken while maintaining high academic standards and broadening opportunities for aspiring management professionals.

Under Prof. Verma’s leadership, FORE School of Management has significantly enhanced its global engagement by forging collaborations with reputed international universities. These partnerships provide students with international immersion opportunities, exposure to global employment ecosystems, and strengthened readiness for both domestic and international careers.

A major focus has been placed on adopting data-driven and technology-enabled learning frameworks. Curriculum reforms have integrated analytics, digital skill-building, sustainability, and applied learning models, complemented by experiential learning initiatives across programmes. Notably, the institution has established a Bloomberg Lab for financial analytics and an AI Lab to provide hands-on exposure to emerging technologies.

Structured certification pathways have been introduced to enhance employability outcomes. Finance students, for instance, are encouraged to pursue professional certifications such as those offered by the National Institute of Securities Markets (NISM), ensuring role-readiness upon graduation.

Prof. Verma has also championed a value-centric leadership approach, embedding institutional ethics, student welfare initiatives, and holistic development within the governance framework. His tenure has been marked by active involvement in institutional reforms, strategic planning, and creating systems that balance global competitiveness with Indian knowledge perspectives.

Speaking on the occasion, Prof. Verma said,

“Expansion must be purposeful and modernization must be meaningful. Our endeavour has been to build an institution that prepares students for global opportunities while remaining rooted in strong ethical foundations. Education today must equip learners not only for employment, but for responsible leadership in a rapidly changing world.”

The recognition highlights the ongoing leadership-driven transformation at FORE School of Management and underscores its focus on innovation, industry alignment, and global integration.
