NSE Stocks: Genesys International Leads Gainers as Metal Stocks Shine

New Delhi, August 25, 2026: Stock-specific buying remained in focus at the National Stock Exchange (NSE) on Tuesday, with several companies witnessing sharp gains during the trading session. The top-performing stocks included both broader-market counters and heavyweight constituents of the NIFTY 50 index.

Among NSE-listed stocks, Genesys International Corporation emerged as one of the strongest performers, gaining around 19.99%. Chandrima Mercantile followed closely with a rise of approximately 19.90%, while Fertilisers and Chemicals Travancore (FACT) advanced nearly 14.93%.

Thrive Future Habitats was another notable gainer, with its stock rising around 14.38% during the session. The sharp movements highlight the wide dispersion in performance across the broader NSE market, where smaller and mid-sized stocks can register significantly larger intraday moves than benchmark constituents.

NSE Stocks: Genesys International Leads Gainers as Metal Stocks Shine

Within the NIFTY 50, buying interest was comparatively measured but metals remained prominent among the gainers. JSW Steel rose around 2.57%, making it the strongest performer among the large-cap stocks listed in the provided set. Hindalco Industries gained approximately 2.37%, while Tata Steel advanced around 1.80%.

HCL Technologies also remained in positive territory, gaining nearly 1.50%. The performance of JSW Steel, Hindalco and Tata Steel points to continued investor interest in the metal segment, although the broader market picture remained dependent on intraday developments.

The contrast between the broader NSE gainers and NIFTY 50 performers is significant. While selected smaller stocks recorded gains approaching 20%, the leading benchmark constituents moved within a more moderate range. Such differences are typical of equity markets, where liquidity, company-specific developments, trading volumes and investor positioning can produce substantially different price movements.

NSE maintains dedicated market-watch sections for top gainers and losers, allowing investors to track securities experiencing significant price changes during the session.

For investors, however, a sharp rise in a stock does not necessarily indicate a sustainable trend. Top-gainer lists primarily highlight price momentum, and stocks showing unusually large intraday gains can also experience heightened volatility or profit-taking. Market participants generally assess the move alongside trading volume, corporate announcements, earnings, valuations and broader sector trends before drawing conclusions.

The latest market action also follows a cautious start to the week. Indian equity benchmarks ended Monday lower, with the Sensex and Nifty declining by around 0.2%, while Tata Steel and HCL Technologies were among the notable gainers during that session.

Overall, Tuesday’s stock movement underscores the divergence between high-beta broader-market counters and established NIFTY 50 companies. Genesys International, Chandrima Mercantile, FACT and Thrive Future Habitats dominated the broader gainers’ list, while JSW Steel, Hindalco Industries, Tata Steel and HCL Technologies led gains among the major benchmark stocks.

The figures cited are intraday indications and may change during the trading session. This report is for informational purposes and does not constitute investment advice.

Crude Oil Futures Gain as Firm Demand and Fresh Buying Support Domestic Market

New Delhi, Aug 25: Crude oil prices edged higher in domestic futures trading on Tuesday, supported by firm spot demand and increased buying interest from market participants.

Crude Oil Futures Gain as Firm Demand and Fresh Buying Support Domestic Market

 Pic Credit: Pexel

On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), crude oil futures for September delivery rose Rs 8, or 0.1 per cent, to Rs 8,143 per barrel, with 2,524 lots traded.

The rise reflected stronger participation in the futures market, with traders increasing their positions amid steady demand. The firm domestic trend came despite relatively muted movements in international crude benchmarks.

In global trade, West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude was quoted at $84.96 per barrel, while Brent crude stood at $92.04 per barrel. Both benchmarks were marginally lower during the session.

The domestic crude market continued to show resilience as steady spot demand and fresh positions provided support to prices. Traders are expected to closely track international crude movements, global demand conditions and geopolitical developments for further cues.

The positive movement in domestic futures indicates continued market interest in crude oil, even as global benchmarks remain largely range-bound.

Rising Demand for Advanced Gynecological Care: Rainbow Children’s Hospital Expands Surgical Capabilities for Women

HYDERABAD, India, Aug. 25, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Rainbow Children’s Hospital recently introduced robotic-assisted surgery in its gynaecology department at its Financial District facility in Hyderabad, marking a step forward in the centre’s approach to complex gynecological procedures. The technology allows surgeons to operate with greater precision and control, translating into smaller incisions, reduced blood loss, and faster recovery for patients undergoing procedures for conditions such as fibroids, endometriosis, and other gynecological disorders requiring surgical intervention.

Rising Demand for Advanced Gynecological Care: Rainbow Children's Hospital Expands Surgical Capabilities for Women

The move reflects a broader pattern across Indian healthcare, where gynecological surgeries have been rising steadily in recent years. Factors ranging from delayed childbearing and lifestyle-linked conditions to improved diagnostic access have contributed to a higher incidence of conditions such as fibroids, ovarian cysts, and pelvic floor disorders among women. At the same time, awareness around timely intervention has grown, with more women seeking consultation earlier rather than living with symptoms that affect daily life.

This has widened the range of gynecological surgeries hospitals are expected to offer. Myomectomy, the surgical removal of uterine fibroids while preserving the uterus, remains among the most commonly performed procedures for women seeking to retain fertility. Hysteroscopic procedures, which use a thin camera passed through the cervix, allow surgeons to diagnose and treat conditions such as uterine polyps, fibroids, and abnormal bleeding without any external incision. Laparoscopic hysterectomy, ovarian cystectomy for the removal of ovarian cysts, and surgical management of endometriosis are among the other procedures that have moved toward minimally invasive approaches in recent years, replacing more invasive open surgery wherever clinically suitable. For patients, this has meant shorter hospital stays, quicker return to normal activity, and reduced post-operative complications.

Rainbow Children’s Hospital’s women’s healthcare vertical, BirthRight by Rainbow, has built its practice around this shift, offering services spanning normal and high-risk obstetrics, fertility care, and advanced gynecology, including hysteroscopy, myomectomy, laparoscopic and robotic-assisted procedures. The addition of robotic-assisted surgery at the Financial District facility extends this capability further, positioning the centre to manage more complex gynecological cases without requiring patients to seek care elsewhere for advanced surgical options.

The hospital has indicated it will expand robotic-assisted surgery across a wider range of gynecological procedures in the coming months, as part of its ongoing effort to strengthen surgical care for women alongside its established paediatric and maternity services.

About Rainbow Children’s Hospital

Rainbow network comprises 24 hospitals and 6 clinics across 9 cities, with a total bed capacity of ~2,435 beds. Our Pediatric services under ‘Rainbow Children’s Hospital’ include newborn and pediatric intensive care, pediatric multi-specialty services, pediatric quaternary care (including organ transplantation), whereas our women care services under ‘BirthRight by Rainbow’ offer perinatal care services which include normal and complex obstetric care, multi-disciplinary foetal care, perinatal genetic and fertility care along with gynecology services.

Rainbow Children’s Hospital is built on strong fundamentals of multidisciplinary approach with a full-time consultant led clinical service along with 24/7 commitment in a child-centric environment. The company follows a hub-and-spoke operating model where the hub hospital provides comprehensive outpatient, inpatient care, with a focus on tertiary and quaternary services and the spokes provide primary, secondary and emergency care in pediatrics and obstetrics, large outpatient services and comprehensive obstetrics, pediatric and level 3 NICU services. This model is successfully operational at Hyderabad and is gaining traction in Bengaluru. The endeavor is to replicate this approach in Chennai and across the National Capital Region. Subsequently, Rainbow intends to expand into tier-2 cities of Southern India.

Rainbow embraces a unique doctor engagement model, where doctors work exclusively on a full-time, retainer basis. The doctors work in teams and have 24/7 commitment, which is particularly important for children’s emergency, neonatal, pediatric intensive care services and support pediatric retrieval services. The Company also operates the country’s largest pediatric DNB training program in private healthcare, offering post graduate residential DNB and fellowship program.

Nayax Launches EV Charging Payments in Brazil with a Certified Terminal for Paying at the Charger

VPOS Media 4 Mini accepts cards and digital wallets directly at the charging point, giving drivers a faster, broader range of ways to pay

CURITIBA, Brazil, Aug 25: Nayax Ltd. (NASDAQ: NYAX, TASE: NYAX), a global commerce enablement, payments, and loyalty platform, today launched its electric mobility business in Brazil. At the center of the launch is VPOS Media 4 Mini, a payment terminal certified and validated to process local payments at charging stations. Drivers pay at the charger itself, with a broader range of payment options available.

Payment flexibility is one of the practical factors that shapes the charging experience. Giving drivers the option to pay directly at the charger, alongside app-based payment, makes the experience closer to a fuel pump, where paying takes seconds and drivers can choose what works best for them, cutting friction at the charger.

That friction is costly in a market where each charger already serves many drivers. Brazil’s public and semi-public network reached 25,429 charging points at the end of May 2026, a rise of 20.7 percent in three months, according to the Brazilian Electric Vehicle Association. The country’s plug-in fleet stands at 505,806 vehicles, close to 20 for every charging point.

VPOS Media 4 Mini pre-authorizes the payment when the charging session begins and captures the final amount automatically once charging is complete. The driver taps once at the start and is charged the correct amount at the end, with nothing further to do.

The terminal is certified by ABECS, which governs payment security in Brazil, and by Anatel, which covers connected devices. It is built for unattended outdoor sites, with reinforced protection against dust, water and mechanical impact.

The solution is built for charge point operators, charger manufacturers and management-system providers. Operators can keep the systems they already run, with no migration required. Charger manufacturers can integrate through a proprietary protocol embedded directly in their equipment, gaining the ability to expand into new markets with Nayax’s support as they grow internationally.

Nayax Launches EV Charging Payments in Brazil with a Certified Terminal for Paying at the Charger

“Electric mobility can only scale if the charging experience is simple and accessible. Payments should no longer be an obstacle. They should enable a seamless charging journey. Our goal is to connect charge point operators, manufacturers, and management platforms through an open ecosystem that delivers a frictionless experience for drivers while improving operational efficiency for infrastructure operators,” said Eduardo Muniz, CEO of Nayax Brazil.

Nayax supports tens of thousands of EV charging points worldwide. In Brazil the company operates as Nayax Brazil, following its 2024 acquisition of VMtecnologia, whose network covers more than 6,300 retailers across all 27 states.

The solution is available across Brazil.
