business Jun 6, 2025

Mambattu, Andhra Pradesh | June 6, 2025 — EPACK Prefab Technologies Limited, manufacturer of pre-engineered and prefabricated building solutions, inaugurated its sandwich panel manufacturing facility at Mambattu in Andhra Pradesh.

The new plant is built on a 2,83,660 sq. ft. land parcel with a built-up area of 1,49,151 sq. ft., designed to meet the surging demand for energy-efficient, high-performance sandwich panels across sectors such as cold storage, food processing, cleanrooms, and industrial infrastructure. The facility enhances EPACK’s production capacity by adding 8 lakh sqm/annum taking the company’s total sandwich panel capacity to 13.10 lakh sqm/annum.

The Mambattu plant features a fully automated, continuous production line capable of manufacturing PUR/PIR and Rockwool panels. The technology ensures high precision, minimal manual intervention, enhanced product quality, and reduced material waste. The facility adds an annual capacity of 8 lakh square meters, boosting EPACK’s total sandwich panel production capacity to 13.10 lakh square meters.

Commenting on the occasion, Sanjay Singhania, Managing Director & CEO of EPACK Prefab, said: “The inauguration of our Mambattu Sandwich Panel Plant is a landmark moment in EPACK’s journey of building smarter, faster, and greener infrastructure for India. Strategically located, this facility will serve as a southern hub to power critical sectors like cold chain, food processing, and industrial warehousing, while enhancing our national footprint. It reflects our unwavering commitment to innovation, sustainability, and the larger vision of nation-building through advanced prefab technologies. We are proud to align with key national missions such as Make in India, Aatmanirbhar Bharat, and PM Gati Shakti.”

With an investment of ₹56 crore (excluding land cost), the plant enhances EPACK’s ability to meet customer requirements with speed, scale, and efficiency. The company is targeting a 30–35% market share in the prefabricated sandwich panel segment by the end of this fiscal year, propelled by its growing capacity and deeper regional penetration.

The facility is aligned with EPACK’s goals of sustainable manufacturing. It operates under approvals from the Tamil Nadu State Pollution Control Board in compliance with the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, the Air (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act, and the Environment (Protection) Act. Additionally, its automated systems support energy-efficient operations, reducing per-unit consumption and ensuring consistent, long-lasting panel output.

Nikhel Bothra, Executive Director, EPACK Prefab, said: “The Mambattu Sandwich Panel Plant is a strategic step forward in our vision to build a robust, technology-driven manufacturing ecosystem across India. With this facility, we strengthen our ability to deliver high-quality, precision-engineered solutions to the southern markets while staying aligned with our core principles of speed, scalability, and sustainability. This plant reflects EPACK’s long-term commitment to transforming how India builds, efficiently, responsibly, and at scale.”

The plant has also had a meaningful community impact, generating employment for over 600 people in the region. In a notable achievement, EPACK also received recognition from the Golden Book of Records for building the fastest-constructed structure in India at this very site—an industrial facility of 1.50 lakh sq. ft. within the APIIC Industrial Park in Mambattu.
