Mumbai, Oct 30: This Diwali, ITC Grand Central, Mumbai, presents ‘Light That Gives Back’, a purpose-led initiative celebrating community engagement and inclusive craftsmanship. In collaboration with Finland School and Cheshire Homes India, Mumbai, the hotel will host a diya-making activity featuring handcrafted clay diyas made by visually challenged children from the NGO.
The diyas will be available for sale, with the revenue generated going to Cheshire Homes India, Mumbai, supporting the NGO’s work and bringing greater visibility to the children’s creativity and talent.
Taali Foods, the gifting partner, will complement the initiative with a storytelling activity highlighting the importance of healthy snacking during the festive season and encouraging mindful food choices.Through ‘Light That Gives Back’, ITC Grand Central aims to make festive celebrations more meaningful by bringing together community partners to champion talent, encourage conscious consumption and create a positive social impact.
