Louis Philippe brings home Onam with Kenny Sebastian in new campaign, “Get Louis Philippe. Get Onam Right.”

business Aug 26, 2026

The campaign turns everyday Onam moments, from getting dressed to fielding family opinions, into a playful ode to Kerala’s biggest celebration.

Louis Philippe has launched its Onam Collection 2026, featuring Kerala-inspired prints, premium fabrics, embroidery and festive detailing designed for the season. To bring the collection to life, the brand has partnered with comedian and performer Kenny Sebastian for a new campaign titled “Get Louis Philippe. Get Onam Right.”

Conceptualized and executed by Schbang, the campaign builds its story around the small, familiar experiences that define Onam: coming home, getting dressed, meeting relatives, gifting, celebrating, and navigating the unsolicited advice that tends to come with all of it.

Onam gives us such a rich and distinctive world to design for, from the prints and colours to the way people come together and get ready for the day. What makes Onam truly special is that it is a great equaliser — no matter where you are or how you live, everyone comes home to the familiar warmth, rituals and celebration of Onam. For generations, Louis Philippe has been a much-loved part of these celebrations, and this collection is our way of bringing that shared feeling into modern menswear. Kenny’s interpretation brings it to life beautifully, making the collection feel like a natural part of your Onam celebrations.”  said Deepika Sabharwal Tewari, Head of Marketing at Louis Philippe.

The campaign is anchored by a hero film featuring Kenny Sebastian, set inside a contemporary Malayali home. What starts as a simple ask to “wear something nice” spirals into an imagined family inspection, with the Louis Philippe Onam Collection as his answer, giving the film its central idea: “Wardrobe Mallu-fication.”

Kenny’s own Malayali roots and observational style of humour shape the campaign’s tone, letting it draw on Onam experiences that will feel instantly familiar to Kerala audiences without ever taking itself too seriously.

Alongside the hero film, the campaign includes three short-form films, each built around a different slice of the Onam experience. Gifting is reframed as a “Kerala State Board” exam, the festive season gets its own annual “Mallu software update,” and picking an outfit becomes the very specific problem of having too many good options. The campaign runs across social and digital platforms, with collection-led carousels, static creatives and performance content live on Meta and YouTube.

“This was a perfect match for the Onam collection, with Kenny and Louis Philippe both being culturally rooted and authentic, while having utter devotion to their craft. We wanted the campaign to sit inside Onam the way Malayalis actually experience it, and Kenny’s presence let us do that across the main film and the shorties without it ever feeling like a stretch.” said Karthik Krishnan, Senior Creative Director, Schbang.

With the Onam Collection 2026, Louis Philippe brings together festive dressing and a distinctly Kerala point of view, told through a campaign that stays rooted in the familiar, with Kenny Sebastian bringing his own sense of humour to the celebration.
