Following the Industrial Revolution, our economy prospered due to abundant resources and global integration. Yet, the last three decades revealed resource limitations exacerbated by pandemic-induced challenges like supply chain disruptions, labor shortages, and energy deficiencies. This warns of more profound systemic shifts toward sustained scarcity, necessitating innovative, sustainable strategies for future prosperity.

Given such a context, FULCRUM’s objective is to embrace various aspects related to the fusion of digital revolution and human awareness, facilitated by Industry 5.0 and Generative AI. This fusion aims to reshape business processes, enabling organizations to become agile and resilient in the face of disruptions. The question then becomes, what strategies can be employed to sustain commercial excellence in a world with limited resources? In this ever-evolving business landscape, there is an inevitable need to minimize resource wastage, embrace the 5Rs of circular economy, and extend product lifespan to achieve a blend of impressive margins and sustainability in businesses.
