Samit BhattKolkata, 23 November 2023: Bridal Trendsetters, a pioneering initiative to infuse jewellery and fashion for the national gems and jewellery industry of India by The Retail Jeweller, made a glittering Fashion Show with its ‘Kolkata Edit’ in association with The Jewellery Diaries at JW Marriott, Kolkata on November 21, 2023.

For the first time, four jewellers and their customers walk the ramp along with models, flaunting each enterprise’s dazzling bridal jewellery collection. Transcending boundaries of fashion, Bridal Trendsetters in association with Nanhi Kali – K.C. Mahindra Education Trust created a noble opportunity in corporate social responsibility and community empowerment for every participating retailer. The event will sponsor the education of 15 girl children based in the Darjeeling centre of Nanhi Akali.

Mr. Samit Bhatta, Publisher and retail Jeweller in India, Middle East, said, “It is a milestone in itself to bring out the essence of beauty from eastern and north-eastern states of India through the Bridal Trendsetters. Each participating brand are master of their own league. We hope for a super-successful fashion show that also touches the lives of the community at the grassroots level.”

Showstoppers of the event included Actor – Former Miss India Ushoshi Sengupta, and actors – Payel Mukherjee, Sayantika Guhathakurata and Bulbuli Panja.
