Mumbai, Oct 22: Global Punjabi Phenomenon AP Dhillon has become the first Indian to get his hands on the iPhone Duo. The artist recently shared a glimpse of the device on his Instagram Stories expressing excitement about getting his hands on Apple’s latest innovation.
Apple has been a part of Dhillon’s creative journey since his early days of making music in a garage studio on a MacBook. From producing and mixing tracks on Logic Pro to keeping his iPhone handy to shoot videos that make the cut in his music videos. AP Dhillon’s hit 2023 music video, ‘With You,’ features candid footage famously shot on an iPhone, highlighting how the video was designed to feel like a real home movie showing AP Dhillon’s intimate, aesthetic and casual style.
In September, Dhillon was also invited to Apple Park among a select few artists and creators in Cupertino for the global unveiling of the iPhone Duo, where he met Apple’s CEO John Ternus and members of the company’s leadership team. His latest acquisition builds on this association, bringing together his personal connection with Apple technology and his evolving creative journey.
Speaking about his relationship with Apple products, AP Dhillon said,
“I made my first songs on a MacBook in a garage, and I still open Logic every day. Half my ideas start as a voice note on my iPhone at 3 a.m.”
