3rd November 2022, Bengaluru: Eloelo, India’s leading live streaming app, today announced the conclusion of the ‘Eloelo Idol: Sing & Win a Car’ contest. The contest ran for six weeks on the Eloelo app and received a phenomenal response from audiences, with participation from more than 3000 amateur and professional singers across the nation & over 5 Million users watching it live on the app.
The Haryana-based common man and enthusiastic singer Kuldeep Singh emerged as the clear front runner in the competition and walked away with a Maruti Swift Dzire Car as part of the contest’s Mega Prize. 55-year-old Kuldeep Singh is an electronics engineer by profession but found his passion in singing. Kuldeep’s live performances garnered a lot of attention and praise. In a span of just one and a half months, this amateur singer received the maximum number of gifts worth more than INR 14 lakhs, which pushed him to the top of the leaderboard. “I was active on the Eloelo app for months. But when I learned about Eloelo Idol, I couldn’t wait to participate. I used to sing for hours on the app daily, and I was happy to see people enjoy my singing” said Kuldeep Singh ecstatically. He plans to continue singing on Eloelo even after the contest has ended. Kuldeep had previously auditioned for Singing Reality Shows on TV too but by using Digital means he was truly able to build a community & win the competition. He now has over 50,000 loyal followers on the app who look forward to his live streams every day. “Loved singing more than anything, the car was a great addition to that,” he added.
The contest, the first of its kind in the segment, had invited professional and amateur singers to participate and win by garnering a maximum number of votes in the form of gifts from audiences. Creator enthusiasm towards the contest was apparent from the amount of streaming time put in by the music aficionados during the Eloelo Idol period in October’22
