Ms. Ruchi SharmDancing is the most basic and relevant of all forms of expression. Dancing is the best exercise for our body and it helps to keep our mind healthy and fit and also helps us to boost our self-esteem. Dance is a beautiful way to express your ideas and emotions. A mega event “ASIA PACIFIC DANCE CHAMPIONSHIP” was organised by Y&Y events (Asia Pacific Dance Congress) at Dubai. This was a four-day grand event wherein many budding participants from all over India and U.A.E took part. Many renowned and professional master trainers were present on the occasion to adjudge the participants.

Our Gillconians, Aarya Singh(Class VIII), Harriet (Class V), and Tejasveer Singh (Class III) participated from India and brought laurels to the school as well as to themselves by grabbing First Runner’s Trophy under Junior Category. They were accompanied by their Dance Educator, Ms. Pooja Sharma. She also participated in the mega event under Super Mom Solo Category and secured the 2nd Runner-Up trophy.

They got a golden opportunity to personally meet Salman Yusuff Khan, Tushar Kalia, Fernando Aguilera, Jai Kumar Nair and Varun DS Rana, who were the judges for the event. They also attended the workshops and training sessions organised by celebrities in this field. It was a commendable exposure and a matter of great pride. The management at Gillco International School has always provided such platforms to its educators and students to reach the pinnacle and explore opportunities by supporting each endeavor on the financial front.

The Principal, Ms. Ruchi Sharma congratulated the winners for their victory and magnificent display. She encouraged them to keep up their talent and wished them good luck in future ventures.
