Hyderabad, August 12th, 2024…. Hyderabad International Trade Expositions Ltd (HITEX) will be organizing three expos HIMTEX, IPEC, and ECO Sustain Expo simultaneously from August 16 to 19 at Hitex, Madhapur in the city.

The three expos are the 8th edition of the Hyderabad International Machine Tool & Engineering Expo (HIMTEX). It will be run concurrently with the India Process Expo & Conference (IPEC) and the Eco Sustain Expo from August 16th to 18th, 2024. These events provide a platform for showcasing the latest innovations and developments in the manufacturing sector, offering opportunities for networking, collaboration, and growth.

The three significant expos—HIMTEX, IPEC, and Eco Sustain Expo—cater to the diverse needs of a manufacturer. HIMTEX focuses on machine tools, considered the backbone of manufacturing; IPEC emphasizes innovation and process trends; while Eco Sustain Expo centres on sustainable practices added Srikanth TG, Business Head of HITEX.

HIMTEX 2024 is fuelling supply chain efficiency and industrial growth across the youngest Indian state Telangana, Srikanth T G said.

The Hyderabad International Machine Tool and Engineering Expo (HIMTEX) is a prominent event that showcases the latest advancements in machine tools, engineering equipment, and manufacturing technology. Spread over 10,500 square meters, it will feature 225 exhibitors from across 14 states in India.

Strong participation from the robotics, 3D printing, and automation sectors it will have exhibitors such as Suresh Indu Lasers Pvt Ltd, KTM Technology & Innovations (India) Pvt. Ltd, Bharat Fritz Werner, Carl Zeiss India (Bangalore) Pvt. Ltd, Kitagawa India Private Limited, Global CNC Private Limited, Mitutoyo South Asia Pvt Ltd etc.

Machine tool manufacturers from Rajkot, Gujarat supported by (MTMA – Machine Tool Manufacturers Association – Rajkot) and Ludhiana, Punjab (LMTMA – Ludhiana Machine Tool Manufacturers Association) and other associations, it is expecting a lot of group participation.

International companies from countries including the USA, Germany, Italy, South Korea, China, Israel, Switzerland, Taiwan, Turkey, and Spain will participate through their Indian dealers and distributors, Srikanth added

Eco Sustain Expo dedicated to promoting sustainable manufacturing practices and eco-friendly technologies will have participants from 8 states. WIKA India’s Sustainable Water & Energy Consumption Practices Saves 26% of Water & Minimize Emissions

Some of the key sustainability initiatives taken by WIKA India over the past three years are pulp packaging, zero waste water, LPG Genset Implementation, and urban forest development.

A shift to using pulp packaging, an environment-friendly material compared to the conventional products, has helped minimise the plastic wastes and also encouraged the adoption of more recycling practices of the waste packaging material. For instance, the company has saved around 7000 €/year (Single die prepared for 5 types). Another innovative practice that WIKA India has incorporated is the use of advanced water management systems. From reducing the water consumption by 26% over the last two years at its Faridabad facility, the sewage treatment plant of capacity 50, 000 litres per day is in use at its Pune facility that helps generate 3,00,000 litres of recycled water to be used in garden and plants.

Along with these, replacing diesel generators with LPG gensets has helped WIKA India in attaining sustainable energy consumption. This switch has helped reduce the emission of greenhouse gases, thus ensuring clean air and environment. For the first time globally, WIKA India has planted around 1,600 trees on barren land in urban areas, implementing the Miyawaki technique. This initiative involves creating complex, rich biodiverse environments that helps improve air quality and can assist in supporting the diversity of life within urban environments.

Cologne, Germany, June 6th, 2024: TVS Srichakra, one of India’s largest manufacturers & exporters of two, three-wheeler and Off-Highway tyres launched new Steel Belted Agro Industrial Radial Tyres at The Tire Cologne 2024 – one of the world’s foremost trade fairs for the tyre industry.

The tyre major displayed its flagship products at Hall 6.1 Booth: C050–C054 in the three-day event held in Cologne, Germany.

The newly launched Steel Belted Agro Industrial Radial Tyre is the first such product in this segment and has been designed for use predominantly in telescopic handlers, compact wheel loaders and backhoe loaders engaged in both agricultural and industrial applications. Two sizes out of the three available were displayed – 460/70R24 for telehandlers and 340/80R18- for backhoe loader front axle application.

In the two-wheeler segment, Bee Connect, Roadhound and Protorq Extreme were showcased. While Bee Connect range has best in category scooter tyres for everyday urban riding, Roadhound is a high-performance tyre for sport touring with quadrazone technology. Protorq Extreme is Eurogrip’s steel belt radial – a sporty tyre for both track and road use. The off-road range includes Climber XC, Climber XC-R and Climber MX Junior, covering the needs of Motocross and Enduro riders.

Soon-to-be-launched: Trail Road range, comprising Trailhound SCR and Trailhound STR were also displayed.
