9th Annual Week of Possibilities : AbbVie Bengaluru Team Supports Young Learners

Bengaluru, July 1st, 2024 – AbbVie, a global biopharmaceutical company focused on creating medicines and solutions announced the ninth annual ‘Week of Possibilities.’ It is a global volunteering program that unites employees with a shared mission: to give back to local communities. From 10th June 2024, thousands of AbbVie employees across 50 countries and territories collaborated with trusted nonprofit and community partners to complete hands-on projects that benefit local communities and impact tens of thousands of people worldwide. This year, the highly anticipated ‘Week of Possibilities’ event will unfold across the vibrant cities of Mumbai, Chennai, New Delhi, and Bengaluru.

“We at AbbVie are committed to supporting our local community in Bengaluru through volunteering. We are excited to collaborate with iVolunteer that helped us reach Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Urdu School in Bengaluru,” said Suresh Pattathil, Managing Director & General Manager AbbVie India. “During our ‘Week of Possibilities,’ one of our most anticipated annual volunteer initiatives, thousands of AbbVie employees globally come together to serve their local communities.”

In Bengaluru, volunteers experienced the joy of spending time and making a day of a group of government school students’ fun-filled and fruitful. The activity was divided into two sessions. In the first half, a session on ‘problems due to fast fashion and textile waste’ was by an iVolunteer representative for the volunteers. Then a training on how to upcycle a T-shirt into a simple cloth tote bag. In the second half, the Volunteers were paired with 1 or 2 students and conducted a session to train them on upcycling a T-shirt into a simple cloth bag. The bags were then donated to students at the school.

L&T Technology Services Reports 5 Percent QoQ Revenue Growth in Q4 and Net Profit of Rs.1,300 Crore Plus in FY24

L&T Technology Services Limited (BSE: 540115, NSE: LTTS), India’s leading pure-play engineering services company, announced its results for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2024.

Highlights for Q4FY24 include:

  • Revenue at Rs. 25,375 million; growth of 7% YoY and 5% QoQ
  • USD Revenue at $305.1 million; growth of 6.3% YoY and 5.1% QoQ in constant currency
  • EBIT margin at 16.9%
  • Net profit at Rs. 3,409 million

During the quarter, LTTS signed one USD 100 million, one USD 30 million and two deals each of USD 20 million and USD 10 million. Additionally, we signed one significant empanelment agreement.

Highlights for FY24 include:

  • Revenue at Rs. 96,473 million; growth of 9%
  • USD Revenue at $1,164 million; growth of 7% in constant currency
  • EBIT margin at 17.1%
  • Net profit at Rs. 13,037 million; growth of 8%
  • Final dividend of Rs. 33 per share recommended by the Board

We are proud of the milestones achieved in FY24 which include the successful integration of SWC into LTTS, securing several significant wins in cybersecurity and next-generation communications supported by a comprehensive portfolio, filing 54 patents in AI along with a total of 1,296 patents to date, and developing a robust pipeline of opportunities in the Software-Defined Vehicle (SDV) domain.

At the end of Q4FY24, LTTS’ employee strength stood at 23,812.

Saurya Urja Company Supports Development Of Professional Human Resources Through Skill Development

India, Jan 17, 2022: Saurya Urja Company of Rajasthan Limited (SUCRL) has partnered with AISECT ltd. to establish and operate Skill Development and Solar Training Institute at Phalodi under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and Local Area Development (LAD) programme to encourage the youth of Rajasthan to take up skill training and benefit from employment and self-employment opportunities thereafter.

Under this program, AISECT Ltd. will facilitate training for approximately 500 candidates every year and will provide assistance with opportunities for employment and self-employment. The institute is providing training in Solar PV Installer, Tailoring, Data Entry Operator, Plumbing job roles. Interested candidates can enquire at the Saurya Urja – AISECT Training Center, Near NK Cinema, Adarsh Nagar, Phalodi.

Shri Keshav Prasad (CEO of SUCRL) informs that this special skill training program was started in 2019 in partnership with AISECT Ltd. to enforce the strong social commitment of SUCRL towards the larger society.
