Summercool Home Appliances to Open New Manufacturing Plant in Prayagraj, UP

Honorable Nand Gopal Gupta, Cabinet Minister of the Uttar Pradesh government, assured full support from the state’s Micro and Small Industries Ministry.

22nd Aug, 2024; Summercool, a renowned name in the home and kitchen appliances industry is set to inaugurate its latest manufacturing plant in the Naini Industrial Area, Prayagraj. Spanning 5000 square meters, this state-of-the-art facility is set to showcase a significant step towards the brand’s upward slope and its commitment to boosting economic development.

With an initial investment of 10 Cr, this unit is poised to play a crucial role in enhancing the company’s manufacturing and production capabilities. This new plant is set to employ around 100-150 people, catering to the growing demand for Summercool’s products in Uttar Pradesh and neighboring regions, including Bihar, Bengal, Jharkhand and Nepal.

Summercools recent establishment of the manufacturing facility in Prayagraj has garnered significant support from the Uttar Pradesh government as a strategic step towards boosting industrial development in the region. During a notable event, Honorable Nand Gopal Gupta, Cabinet Minister of the Uttar Pradesh government, assured full support from the state’s Micro and Small Industries Ministry. The event brought businesses together to underscore the government’s commitment to nurturing local businesses while ensuring seamless project implementation. This partnership is set to speed up Summercools growth strategies and play a role in boosting the economy.

The construction of the Prayagraj plant is expected to be completed in the next 1-2 years, with operations slated to begin shortly thereafter. The brand has outlined a detailed investment plan to continue expanding the plant’s capacity and product range over the coming years, ensuring that the facility remains at the forefront of manufacturing excellence.

BFW Inaugurates Fully Digitalized, Global Scale Manufacturing Plant

– A fully integrated “Spindle Technology Centre,” encompassing indigenous engineering, manufacturing, assembly, and service of high-quality machine tool spindles, including integral motor technology.
