Prateek Jain from ADIF Imparts Growth Strategies to Budding Innovators at the Northeast Innovation Program at IIT Guwahati
21, 06, 2024: The Alliance of Digital India Foundation (ADIF), a prominent policy think tank for digital startups in India, participated in the Northeast Innovation Catalyst Program, an expert session organized by IIT Guwahati Technology Incubation Centre (IITG-TIC) in collaboration with FICCI and Assam startup the next on June 19-20, 2024. Mr. Prateek Jain, Associate Director at ADIF, was a featured speaker and mentor for the two-day at the 6 week residential boot camp.
The Northeast Innovation Catalyst Program identified and mentored promising startups and entrepreneurial talent from the eight Northeastern states. The program was part of a corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative by FICCI aimed at fostering entrepreneurship, innovation and skill development in India’s Northeastern states. It also facilitated exposure to sector experts, personalized mentoring, and valuable networking opportunities at the IIT Guwahati Technology Incubation Centre.
As a part of the program, Mr. Jain delivered an insightful session on ‘Revenue Model & Growth Strategies’, sharing ADIF’s research and experience supporting startups across sectors. He guided participants on developing successful business models, defining revenue streams, attracting investments, scaling operations and other key aspects of building a thriving tech venture. Mr. Jain engaged in one-on-one mentoring interactions, providing guidance pro bono to approximately 100 startups from the Northeastern states in attendance on critical aspects such as defining revenue streams, scaling operations, attracting investments, and more.
