Škoda Auto India implements proactive Flood Relief Support for all its customers

Mumbai, 7th August, 2024 – In the wake of severe floods and heavy rains across various regions in India, Škoda Auto India have implemented a proactive Škoda Flood Relief Support programme. Support is extended to every flood-affected Škoda car across the country and to customers who have not opted for Road Side Assistance (RSA).

The Škoda Flood Relief Support is a programme offering proactive RSA support to all Škoda cars and customers affected by floods anywhere in India. Customers who have not opted for RSA will also be provided this service till 15th September, 2024, ensuring they have access to mobility and are not stranded during the monsoon season. The company has set up two toll-free numbers — 1800 209 4646 or 1800 102 6464 – to ensure customers have 24-hour access and more than one option to reach out to assistance. Škoda Auto India has also issued Expert Guidelines for Vehicle Floor Repair to all its dealers.

Škoda Auto India has always offered a 4-year/100,000 km warranty as standard for all its new cars with an option to extend it to the 5th and 6th year with upto 150,000 kms. In addition, the company’s fleet consists entirely of 5-star rated, safety-tested cars for both adults and children. The latest Flood Relief Support is yet another endeavour by the manufacturer to provide a hassle-free ownership and maintenance experience to its customers.

Škoda Auto India announces all-new service offerings under latest Monsoon Campaign

<p style=”text-align: justify;”><strong>Mumbai, July 4, 2024 –With a slew of product actions in the pipeline, including the all-new compact SUV, Škoda Auto India continues with its customer-centric actions</strong> by announcing its annual Monsoon Campaign across 50 days starting 1 July, 2024. The Campaign includes a slew of, complimentary check-ups and discounts on various services.</p>

<p style=”text-align: justify;”><strong>The Campaign</strong></p>
<p style=”text-align: justify;”>The Monsoon Camp starts on July 1, 2024 and is operational at every Škoda Auto India dealership, service centre and customer touchpoint across India. During the campaign period, Škoda Auto India customers can claim various complimentary check-ups and discounts various services. On offer is an entirely complimentary 40-point Monsoon check-up on every Škoda car, including legacy models. Customers can also avail a discount of upto 20% on Road Side Assistance with a two- and three-year package.</p>
<p style=”text-align: justify;”>The Campaign also offers critical care and embellishments to every existing Škoda car that would enhance safety and visibility for drivers and customers in the monsoon season. On offer is a Windshield Polish that eliminates scratches on the windshield and enhances visibility and wiper movement. Customers can opt for a Headlight restoration that removes dust and water marks from the headlight units, providing cleaner and brighter vision. GermKleen, a service that cleans, sanitises and provides a hygienic interior can also be availed. These, and many discounts of upto 20% under the Monsoon Campaign.</p>

<p style=”text-align: justify;”><strong>Škoda Auto</strong> India’s Monsoon Camp begins on July 1, 2024 and extends over a month to August 20, 2024. This campaign covers all Škoda Auto India customers, including proud owners of legacy cars like the Fabia, Rapid, Octavia and the Yeti, along with cars in the current fleet like the Kushaq and Slavia and the premium Kodiaq and Superb.</p>
<p style=”text-align: justify;”><strong>Warranty with safety</strong></p>
<p style=”text-align: justify;”>Škoda Auto India offers a 4-year/100,000 km standard warranty when the industry standard is about 3-years/75,000kms. Customers, under Škoda’s Peace of Mind programme, can extend this 4-year/100,000 km standard warranty up to the 5th or 6th year/150,000 km, whichever earlier. Owners of legacy cars can opt for an Anytime Warranty package, depending on the mileage and year of production of these cars that enable them to get one to two years of additional warranty.</p>
<p style=”text-align: justify;”>Škoda Auto India’s warranty packages are in addition to the company’s recent introduction of a minimum of six airbags as standard across the range furthering the safety quotient in a proven and fully-tested fleet of 5-star safe rated cars for adults and children.</p>

The first half of 2022 has been a product onslaught for ŠKODA AUTO India with the new KODIAQ, the all-new SLAVIA and the new KUSHAQ Monte Carlo. While the product offensive brought about one phase of INDIA 2.0, another phase of the Project, improving customer satisfaction, has also been gathering momentum with the company crossing 205+ customer touchpoints across 123 cities in all four regions of the country.

Commenting on the landmark, Mr. Zac Hollis, Brand Director, ŠKODA AUTO India said, “While products are our heroes, INDIA 2.0 is also about being closer to our customers on all fronts. By rapidly increasing our customer touchpoints and expanding our network, we have the largest ever presence of the ŠKODA brand in India. ŠKODA AUTO India ended 2021 with 175 touchpoints across ¬¬¬¬117 cities with a target of hitting 225 touchpoints by the end of 2022. However, the quick success of new launches fueled faster uptake of the expansion with the company now aiming to hit 250 touchpoints by end of 2022. ŠKODA AUTO India will continue expanding rapidly with plans for about 10+ touchpoints in each zone across India.

With this expansion, the prime focus of ŠKODA is to penetrate deep in important market clusters covering both metro andnon-metro centres. In the eastern region, ŠKODA will be opening its first touchpoints in Nagaland at Dimapur,also at Dibrugarh in Assam. At the same time, the company will be entering and adding centresin other regions like Gandidham and Morbi – Gujarat, Ambala – Haryana, Amritsar – Punjab, Warangal – Telangana, Pollachi – Tamil Nadu, Haldwani – Uttarakhand and Tirur – Kerala.
