Juniper Green Energy Secures 480 MW in Hybrid PPAs with GUVNL and NTPC

Delhi NCR, July 2024: Juniper Green Energy is delighted to announce the signing of two Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) for hybrid renewable energy projects of total 480 MW of capacity.

 GUVNL Hybrid Phase 1: This project marks the first hybrid initiative with Gujarat Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (GUVNL), featuring 190 MW of hybrid capacity (140 MW solar and 50 MW wind). It is set to generate 412 million units (MUs) of electricity annually, offsetting 384,067 tonnes of CO2 and supplying clean energy to 82,016 households.
 NTPC Hybrid Tranche -1: Juniper Green Energy’s largest hybrid project to date, in partnership with NTPC Limited, comprises 290 MW of hybrid capacity (210 MW solar and 80 MW wind) across Gujarat and Rajasthan. This project will produce 633 MUs of electricity per year, reducing carbon emissions by 590,810 tonnes and powering 126,165 households.

Juniper Green Energy Inks Power Purchase Agreement With Tata Power for Wind -solar Hybrid Power Project in Maharashtra

Delhi NCR, 23rd April 2024: Juniper Green Energy has inked Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Tata Power for the development of 85 MW wind-solar hybrid power project in Maharashtra.

This project is the first wind-solar hybrid power project for the company and will utilize both wind and solar resources by combining 51 MW of wind energy and 34 MW of solar power.

The project is expected to generate a total of 215 MUs of electricity per year. Together, they are projected to offset the state’s carbon emissions by approximately 200,455 tonnes of CO2 annually. Additionally, they will collectively contribute to the electrification of about 42,753 households, advancing the region’s shift toward more sustainable energy solutions.
