National, September 29, 2022 Period Pal by Laiqa, one of the leading apps in providing female health and well-being assistance for women of all ages to monitor and manage their menstrual health and general health has today launched its first official teaser for its upcoming ‘Run For Her’ Virtual Marathon on 5th & 6th November 2022. The objective of the marathon is to spread awareness for menstrual hygiene among women in India and raising funds for the advancement of menstrual hygiene awareness and infrastructure across India.

Period Pal by Laiqa through this virtual marathon will further their mission to create awareness of menstrual hygiene and drive the need for betterment of Menstrual Hygiene Management (MGM) facilities at all geographic levels in corporates, families, schools and colleges across the country.  This virtual mega marathon will be organized at a national level with participation of over 100k people from all walks of life.

The leading celebrity and CIO of Laiqa, Taapsee Pannu will also be a part of this campaign to amplify this message and create further awareness. Backed by Neuberg & Laiqa, the funds collected through the ‘Run For Her’ Virtual Marathon are to be exclusively used to conduct more awareness campaigns across the country. A portion of the funds will also be used to distribute low-cost, high-quality hygiene menstrual products to adolescents across the country. This will be done directly with tie-ups with regional NGOs specializing in this activity and ASHA missions of each state in the country.
