Pheal joins The Indian Association of Physiotherapists as a community partner for the 60th National Conference.

Mumbai, February  2023: International delegates representing the physiotherapy profession in their countries joined their Indian counterparts at the 60th annual National Conference of the Indian Association of Physiotherapists supported by Pheal. The two-day conference was held 11th – 12th February 2023 in Ahmedabad and the impressive event saw Prime Minister Narendra Modi virtually addressing delegates.

The Indian Association of Physiotherapists, Gujarat Chapter – was the host of the 60th National Conference of the Indian Association of Physiotherapists theme “Workout for Fit India” which saw over 1600 delegates in attendance. Pheal, the smartphone app which offers innovative physical care to patients while simultaneously improving the professional standing of therapists was the community partner. Since its beginning in July 2022, Pheal, an acronym for “physical therapy healing,” has been providing solutions that support its founders’ goal of organizing the physiotherapy market by supporting physiotherapists in their work.

The two-day mega-event of the Indian Association of Physiotherapists backed by Pheal featured numerous scientific and cultural programs, including seminars and keynote speeches by international and domestic speakers. For the first time at the conference, Scientific Presentations (Paper and Poster Presentations) for Clinicians were announced as a separate category.

Dr. Ruchi Varshney IAP Treasurer said “With great pride, I’ve served as Treasurer of the IAP and as the leader of the IAP women’s cell. This year’s conference achieved new heights with the presence of our Hon’ble Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel. This diamond jubilee conference was also attended by World Physio President and CEO. India has accomplished this after many years of dedicated work under the direction of Dr. Sanjeev Jha (President – of IAP).
