KIIT World School organized a workshop on plastic recycling

Gurugram: KIIT World School, Gurugram, in collaboration with the Indian Centre for Plastics in the Environment (ICPE), hosted an informative workshop on the importance of plastic recycling. Educating children about plastic recycling is critical because it promotes environmentally responsible behavior and provides students with the knowledge and skills required to properly contribute to recycling initiatives.

Mr. Sudheer Khurana, Manager of Systems and Communications at ICPE, led the training and presented an in-depth explanation of the plastic recycling process. Mr. Khurana went into detail on each step of the recycling process, from collection and sorting to processing and producing new products, while highlighting the advantages of recycling plastic. Students actively participated in the highly interactive workshop, which helped them understand how important it is for them to promote recycling in their schools and communities.

KIIT World School Principal Appointed as City Coordinator by CBSE

Gurgaon- Dr. Neelima Kamrah, Principal of KIIT World School Gurgaon, has been appointed as the City Coordinator for Gurugram-B by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). This appointment recognizes Dr. Kamrah’s experience, cooperation, and coordinating skills, along with the reputation of KIIT World School.

In her new role, Dr. Kamrah will support the smooth conduct of examinations, evaluations, and various activities organized by CBSE. She will oversee pre and post-exam activities for Secondary and Senior Secondary levels, including academic workshops, sports events, and special exams.

As City Coordinator, Dr. Kamrah will coordinate with CBSE-affiliated schools in Gurugram-B, offering guidance and support, and providing feedback on school activities. She will act as a link between CBSE and the schools, collaborating with teachers, parents, and community stakeholders to promote academic excellence.

Dr. Kamrah’s tentative period of three years, subject to performance review at the end of each year.

KIIT World School organized a teacher’s training workshop on the 4 C’s and Classroom Strategies

Gurugram: KIIT World School, Gurugram, in cooperation with Curio, recently organized a specific teacher’s training workshop on “The 4 C’s and Classroom Strategies.” Ms. Rose, a qualified international multi-talented trainer with a notable background in psychology and mass communication, led this amazing session designed for pre-primary and primary teachers.

Teachers Training

The workshop aimed to improve various methods of teaching according to the foundational literacy and numeracy (FLN) requirements and the Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE) concepts. Based on the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020’s 4 C’s framework, the training focused on creativity, critical thinking, communication, and teamwork.

Ms. Rose addressed teachers in creative ways to connect teaching strategies with the FLN and ECCE standards. Through several fruitful exercises, the program explored the development and cultivation of good communication and creative skills, giving teachers the tools they need to create a safe and happy learning environment in the classroom.
